Hi could I have a pp please, sorry it’s long can’t post on the other one incase there’s anyone that knows me on there. My daughter is 4 her dad went to prison and hasn’t seen her for 9/10 months I met him with her 2 weeks ago and since then she hasn’t bothered even mentioning his name… well yesterday I took her to see him again and he got beat up on the way so didn’t come but before that I told her he was coming and she said she didn’t want him too. Do I tell him she doesn’t want too or do I keep trying I voice recorded her aswell but she’s only 4 and I don’t know if she’ll change her mind everyone’s saying don’t let her go anymore and I just don’t know what to do. Thank you x

It’s a hard one!! I split with my 3 kids dad at the end of last year & we had split for 6 months. Our oldest (4) always said she didn’t want to go see him so I never pressured her into anything but the minute she saw him (when he came to pick up the other 2) shed change her mind & say she missed him, she’s old enough to make her own decisions but try reason with her, she probably does want to see him but just confused with the situation. Sit her down & ask her why, there may be a way round it 🙂
