Hi could I have a private post please? I have a 2 year old son who is in care living with my parents, hes been there a year now, the reason for this is because my mental health went completely down hill and I could never keep my house tidy. They diagnosed me with emotionally unstable personality disorder and said I won’t be better until I have group therapy, which I cannot do because I have major anxiety in a group. I’ve done 121 and honestly I am so much better now I’m happy my house is tidy and that but social services still won’t let me have my son back until I’ve done the group therapy and they say I’m better and proved that I can be a mum. But my bigger problem is I am now pregnant. I know they can’t take the baby straight away without doing a assessment while I’m pregnant and I’m happy to do that because I believe I am ready to be a full time mum again, but what I’m asking is, do you think I will be able to keep this one with everything I’ve just said? And also do you think if I can prove I can do it with the new born I can have my boy back too?
