Hi could I have a private post please not sure if you will be aloud to post it but worth a go. My very best friend has recently confided in me that her half brother raped her and she is 32 weeks pregnant. She’s hid her bump etc all this time and says the brother has blackmailed her his wife and child have no idea shes 18 he’s 39. She hasn’t told her midwife the baby will be incest etc. I really don’t know what to say or do to help her. I’ve told her to contact the police as she has texts of him saying he’s sorry and admitting it was all him etc. Does she need to tell her midwife about the baby? Will they know when it’s born that it’s incest? From bloods etc shes absolutely petrified. She won’t tell anyone because she has a toddler who was in the property at the time of the assault so is scared to loose both children. Please no bashing looking for any advice possible and info on what might happen with the child if the doctors will be able to tell etc thanks for posting sorry if this type of post isn’t aloud x
