Hi could I have a private post please?
Me and my partner visited the walk in centre with our baby girl who’s chesty and got a bad cough, anyway we waited for the usual 3ish hours maybe more, to be seen. When we were seen everything was fine but the nurse brought up that she was concerned we were over feeding her as we mentioned that on SOME days she’ll take 6oz every 3/3 and a half hours. She’s 2 months old and on the cow and gate box the guideline says to give 6oz too – and when she isn’t hungry she’ll push it out so she knows when she doesn’t want it. Some days she only has 5 and leaves some but the nurse said to reduce it to 3 oz every 3 hours. I don’t know what I’m looking for other than maybe what everyone else’s babies eat, as this is or first and we thought we were doing right by feeding her when she’s hungry?
