Hi, could I please have a private post!
Ok so I’m at the end of my tether! I have an 8 year old son who has been under peads for the last 3 years as he was showing signs of autism since he was 1. He has had various assessments done to which his pediatrician had the reports back to say there was enough evidence to say he had autism. However, we had a appointment with her before the it went to panel for diagnosis and because he paid eye contact this one time, she changed her mind. My boy has many traits of autism, is also behind in school and has extra help too. Now the problem I’m having is he is bullying my 3 and 1 year old! It’s like he doesn’t mean to but he does! It’s like he doesn’t think about his actions before doing it. He hurts my daughter’s and I cannot trust him to be left alone with them! He has been assessed my camhs but they didn’t really want to know. The things he does are unreal and iv raised the issues with the pediatrician but it’s like she doesn’t believe me! I’m just scared one day he’s seriously going to hurt my girls! My 3 year old is wanting to stay at nanas alot now as it’s starting to have a big impact on her! I just simply don’t know what to do anymore! It’s like my family is being torn apart! I remove all the things he loves and it still doesn’t work! We are due to be signed off peads in 2 weeks and I’m so worried!! Has anyone been through anything similar?? Thank you 😊
