Hi could you please post for me,are their any moms out there that has a child with OCD? I could do with a little advice or signs of symptoms? I’m worried for my son he’s 8 years old and I’ve started to notice he’s behaviour doesn’t seem right? Here’s some examples, he likes he’s teddies but they have to be in a certain order on he’s bed and right by he’s head,he gets really stressed if one gets moved, when traveling in my car he’s seat must stay in the same position and the same side if not he will break down and get very stressed out! If he’s food doesn’t look perfect(like in a whole piece) he will not eat it,he’s drink lunchbox and pencil cases have to be exactly right in he’s school bag,he is fussy about clothes if there is a single crease or even a-little splash of water from brushing he’s teeth he has to change it,he’s started obsessing about the time he likes things to be dead on time and I’ve noticed him watching the clock,he locks all the doors and puts the chain on ,he’s started randomly being sick now and again(only sick once then he’s ok) I’ve asked him if there is anything he wants to talk about and that Mommy is always here I will never judge him and he can tell me anything and I will always do my best to help him,I’m going to take him to the doctors on Monday as I’m really starting to worry now,I just didn’t want to take him before as I thought maybe it was a phase and he may stop and I didn’t want to scare him with going to a doctor , if anybody can help I would be so grateful,I know I’m just going to worry all weekend now until Monday!
