Hi could you post for me please.
Looking for some advice or similar experience because I don’t know what to think.
I got what I thought was my usual period, which lasts around five days, 20 days ago. Had one day where bleeding stopped then continued bleeding for 17 days with clots and pain. Went to the doctors last week, who referred me for blood tests and a scan. Ended up at the out of hours over the weekend due to a horrendous bleed which included clots. After this had no pain, except for in my groin area. Blood test results came back yesterday & had a phone call off the doctor to say my iron levels are low, but my blood count came back ok. She said she believes that it could of been a misscarrige (had no idea I was pregnant if I was) I’ve been given a scan at the end of the month to check everything is ok with my ovaries and womb etc. But my question is, has anyone been told they could of possibly misscarried, but had no way of finding out or even knew they was pregnant in the first place? I understand this is such a touchy subject. Just don’t know what to think now. Thankyou xx
