Hi could you you please post this for me. I’m looking for some advice, basically my eldest who is in reception class at the moment has asked a few times if one of his friends can come over to play and for tea, which is absolutely fine with me and it’s nice to see him wanting his friends over. I know of his mum and have maybe had small talk once or twice outside of school an nursery, her other son also goes to nursery with my daughter but that’s it. I don’t know her name and she sort of sticks in the groups of other mums. I’m not sure how to approach asking or if it’s appropriate? We don’t live close, and the fact we don’t know each other would I’m not sure if I should ask her to come over so they feel comfortable to where he’s coming to? As I wouldn’t be comfortable my son going to a stranger’s house obviously. I hope any of this makes sense, what do other mums and dads do?? Tia
