Hi. Do people think I’m In The wrong please
My baby boy is nearly 10 months old. His dads family have seen him twice since he was born. Once when he was a week old and 2nd time Boxing Day when he was 4 months old. (I traveled 40miles there and 40 miles back both times. They don’t ask about him or to see him. Randomly messaged my partner asking what my little man wants for his birthday. My reply was ” to see his family. If you have not got time to see him then please don’t get him anything for his birthday as I don’t want him to grow up think you get gifts of people you don’t know “. They are now saying I’m pathetic for stopping my little man have extra gift and saying coz I won’t up there to collect his birthday presents I’m making him go with out. Am I in the wrong.
Sorry for long post there just driving me mad and would rather my boy having a relationship with them (not that they want one) than extra gifts.
