Hi! I am trying to wean my little girl who is 2 years and 5 months. It’s been 3 days since I started and she is doing very well, she whines and asks sometimes but she never had meltdowns or anything really bad. The thing is, I still have milk in my boobs, and I feel horrible that, like, I have it and my daughter wants it and I’m just not giving her what I can give her. The reason I decided to wean is because of my nipples starting looking lol and my boobs becoming two TINY saggy shits, I mean my boobs obviously became smaller. Also I always felt sleepy and exhausted, I think I’m starting feeling a lil bit better now that I’m not breastfeeding. But anyway I’m so absolutely pro extended breastfeeding and it makes my heart break knowing I’m not giving my baby what she loves and needs so much, I feel selfish. I am here thinking to probably continue breastfeeding but to do, for example, one or two times a day. The question is, is that a good idea at all considering it’s been three days since I started weaning and can I actually feed her the milk that I have in my breasts or is it not good anymore?
