Hi I am writing this pp for a friend …

I know this is a very sensitive issue, but my friend has recently found out she was pregnant. She’s on a medication that can cause extreme deformities and even death to babies, she was on the depo injection and it failed. She has been advised by the hospital to have a termination.

As you can imagine she’s absolutely devastated beyond words but unfortunately it’s the most realistic sensible option. She’s asked me to ask advice on the two types of abortion, the medical or the surgical, she is taking her children on holiday five days after the procedure and wants to be as recovered as much as possible so which would be more suitable. Obviously she will speak it through at her appointment but she would feel better knowing a bit more or even hearing some personal experiences.

She’s five weeks. Thanks x
