Hi, I need some advice on my daughters childminder and if what she’s doing is fair and allowed. My daughter goes to her 3 days a week, term time it’s just after school for 3 hours and holidays it’s 3 full days (10-6). I pay £45 a week term time and in the holidays it’s £130 a week. The childminder has 6 weeks a year off which are still to be paid, and she has a daughter so the 6 weeks she will be off are always school holidays. Next week she is off but has told me it’s still to be paid (which I know) but for holiday prices still. I really don’t think it’s fair because she will rarely have my daughter in the holidays as she’s always off but I still need to pay £130 a week. I knew I’d have to pay something but thought it would be the term time fee. Is this normal?
