Lots of comfy changes of clothes, charger and a pair of flip flops! And a lip balm as hospital air is dry.

I was induced and didn’t give birth for 36 hours and it was an emergency section so was kept for another day, then baby had an infection so stayed 5 nights total.
People can run back and forth for you if you have the help, but not to be grim things might get messy on several occassions in which case you want at the very least to feel able to feel clean again.
I found sharing a bathroom was the hardest, if you dont have your own room. can’t wear your slippers in a communal bathroom as someone might have just showered so they get wet! Also the floors could be grim in the bathroom so better to shower wearing them :’) :’)

I just took a general hospital bag that you’d take for a natural delivery. I was induced on a Thursday at 11am, went into labour at 4pm, gave birth at 6:30pm, stayed in over night and was home by midday on the Friday.

Id pack a small bag of bits and then another bag which you can leave in the car or at home for someone to grab. Good luck!

Pack enough essentials for a couple of days – they induction process can be long & boring. I’d also make sure you have your charger, snacks & something to read.

If it’s as warm as this bring a fan and a massive bottle of water to stay hydrated. Best of luck mum to be x
