Hi just found out I’m 6 week pregnant, my children have both had very bad chicken pox over past few week, I have had them as a child, will I be ok x

You should be immune if u had them as a child, i work in a nursery and am pregnant and we had them in the nursery recently. My doctors done an antibody blood test to check im immune which i was, if ure really worried ask your doctor for it.
Yeah if you’ve had them already the baby takes your immunity ( but you can get them more than once ) I work with children so been around them a lot and my midwife said I should be fine unless I start to get symptoms, however everybody is different so if your unsure just pop your midwife a message , hope all goes well xx
Yes! I had them as a child and was currently pregnant when my 3 year old had them, I went to the doctor because everyone kept saying i needed to be careful but doctor said it was fine
Yeah my daughter had them when she was 3 I was pregnant I had them when I was a child and I was fine when pregnant my baby was ok x
