Hi, just looking for some advice on a situation… basically me and my daughter’s dad have been split since March. Over the festive period we were not very organised and didn’t agree to days she would go to her dad’s but he has not asked for her once! He had her on Xmas night and picked her up at 6pm then wanted to drop her off in the morning. He’s had Xmas eve, Xmas day, boxing night and now he has new years eve and new years day to himself too. Not once has he asked to spend time with his daughter over the festive period. I feel like I have to message him all the time to ask him to have his own daughter. To be honest it just feels like he’s got it easy and is only wanting to be a dad when it suits him. I’ve just stopped messaging him the last week and waiting on him messaging me when he decides he’s ready to be a dad again. But now i feel like I’m giving him what he wants… am easy life and only chooses to be a dad when he wants. I love spending all this time with my daughter but us mummies need some ‘me’ time aswell don’t you think? What would you do in this situation?
