Hi me again lol can I please have a private post
Me and my partner have split up and he wants me to leave tomorrow with our youngest child. I do not want to go into temp accommodation as I know it be far away. It is a housing association home and only his name on the home. Can he kick me out? Do I have any rights ? Ideally I’d like to wait to be rehomed by council as will be a better environment for our child. Thanks in advance xx

if it’s a tenancy in his name then yes he can make you leave. I’d personally go into homeless accommodation as it usually gets you a permanent place quicker but yes they can place you anywhere your only other option is go private rented. good luck xxx
If it’s only his name of tenancy then no you have no rights to stay he can kick you out and make you homeless, can you not to some arrangement with him
