Hi, please could I have a private post.
I’m looking for some advice/others experiences please. I think i may have PND, what will happen if I go the doctors? I’m so scared. Will they take me seriously? What will they do? I have been struggling alone for 6months now and need some support emotionally. Would it all be confidential or could my employer/future employers find out?

You need to go to your doctors, or contact your HV. They will take you seriously love. You’ll be offered help & support and depending on what help and support you need, they may get you in touch with a Befriender, which is a volunteer that will arrange to see you and just come and have a chat, coffee at your house, or go out with you if you like. I’m currently in training to become one. It’s confidential regarding telling anyone other than the services that needs to know. X
They’ll fully support you sweetie. They’ll offer different things to help counselling medication etc they will only tell people who need to know x
