I have PCOS, I was diagnosed 8 years ago. I had a misscarrige in April 2015 & was prescribed metformin after my periods never returned & fell pregnant whilst taking it. My son is now 13 months old (so lucky 😊). After having my son my periods never returned to their previous 32 day cycle, as each cycle passed they have got longer & I’m currently on day 63 of a cycle with no sign of period. I was prescribed 2 weeks ago metformin on repeat prescription for the next year. I had a scan in May & my right overie was covered in cysts & showed no indiction of working anymore. My left still seemed okay the doctor told me. My doctor told me if I’m hoping to get pregnant & it doesn’t happen in the next 3 months I can go back & she’ll also prescribe me Clomid. We’ve been trying for 9 months already & I’m happy to wait another 3 months for my Clomid prescription.. My question is tho to take Clomid has to be between day 2 & 7 in a cycle. If my period doesn’t show how can I take it?.. I’ve done countless pregnancy & ovulation tests over the last 3 month all are negative. Do you think the doctor would do a blood test? I’m in pain with a bloated hard stomach & I’m starting to get worried x
