Hi ppp,
My son has perforated ear drums awaiting surgery for grommits he is 1 1/2 I used to love swimming but been advised not to take him due to this I haven’t but does anybody know if I can buy him anything to cover his ears so I can take him?

Use ear plugs.. my daughters had grommets 3 times. Tonsils out and adenoids out. I was advised to stop swimming too but it’s something she loved doing so they recommended ear plugs and try not let them under the water x
We have asked at the hospital for ear plugs for our little girl she has had grommits twice now & hospital advised us to use cotton wool & vaseline while bathing intil shes measured for plugs. Maybe ask your hospital can ear plugs be supplied be them or try the cotton wool x
Try a shower cap over hair n ears but u shouldn’t get ears wet it’s same with baths less water the better as can perforate again and become worse cause more pain too
