Hi private post please

Can someone please advise on moving a new partner in?
I have a child to my ex and have been with my new boyfriend for just over a year now. I would be looking to move him in next year but I don’t think my ex will agree to this. My ex gets very regular contact (every other weekend and every Sunday) and this would not be changing.

Is there anything he can do legally to stop me? I’ve read things online like prohibited steps orders etc can be raised but surely he cannot stop me if my new partner is not a danger?
