Hi question about nursery places. My daughter will be 3 in march we dont qualify for for the free 15hours nursery but will when shes 3. My question is when do you apply for the nursery place? I’ve looked on line but not much help with my local council. Should i just startjust ringing local schools?

Funding kicks in the term after they are 3 (for example my daughter is 3 in November so hers starts January I think) she currently goes to a nursery for 6 hours a week that I pay 24.00 for. I just phoned them and arranged a visit and they had places so she started.
My daughter is 3 February next year she starts April I’ve already registered her with local nursery, sooner rather than later is better, they said they will write me a letter nearer the time and arrange a home visit xx
I think its the same as preschool I applied to preschools my son got a placement for September he doesn’t turn 2 until the end of this months I can’t apply for founding until he turns 2 x
They send out the forms when your child turns 3 or u can have the 15hours free at a private nursery that’s what I did till my child went full time x
I’ve already applied. My daughter is 3 in February and she will start in April.
She won’t get the hours until the new term after her third birthday so that will be September x
My daughters birthday was the march and she didnt start till schools went back after the summer holidays x
