Hi there, please can I have a PP?

I’m 23 and pregnant with our 1st baby. After the initial shock me and my partner couldn’t be happier.

Yesterday we had our dating scan and at first it was amazing! The baby looked perfect bouncing about with a strong heartbeat (as said by the sonographer).

Then at the end we was told the baby had a high reading of 4.1mm on it’s nucal fold, which can indicate things such as down syndrome, other chromosome disorders or heart defects.

We was taken into a room where we was told we would be referred to Leeds feral medicine straight away and was given a talk that was wholly negative about all these things that could be wrong with baby.

We left completely disheartened and distraught.
I’m having a CVS test done on Monday.. And was wondering if any of you have had the same procedure? How was your experience? And outcome whether good or bad?
