Hiya any chance I could get a private post please? I’m due to be induced soon and am struggling to find some proper info, can any mums share their stories? Also what weights were the babies? I’ll be 40 weeks the day I get started 😊 thanks in advance xx

I was induced at 40+4.
Not the most pleasant experience but labour never is. I was given 3x the medicine required and walked all around the place. Unfortunately my girl got stuck/cord problems and I had an emergency c section after 3.5 days. But I have to say, of the 4 people who started their inductions I was only one with this experience. All other ladies has pleasant births within 24 hours of first pessary (one right in front of me)!! They all had very good experiences so it’s very individual. My little one wasn’t a large baby at all so don’t worry! Congratulations and good luck! It’ll all be fine, midwives are very supportive x
Hi I was eleven days over when I was I induced with my second one, he was born on his brothers birthday. He was 7lb 6 being induced really isn’t that bad full labour was only two hours and the build up once it kicked in was 8 hrs. No stiches no pain relief just one healthy little boy, he is fifteen now!!! Important factor relax providing you have a great nurse you will be fine. Good luck I hope it goes well xxx
