Hiya. Can i have a ppp? I have two young children, 5 and 3 and live with partner who is their father. I am also pregnant. He pays rent of £595 and i pay all other bills- council tax, mine and his loans and our phone contracts, sky tv, water bill, electricity and gas, tv licence, washing machine repairs, and a few of my personal bills like Argos card. I dont work but he does full time and so im a sahm. I asked him to get babys new travel system which is on sale very cheaply for £60. I said we’d go halves but cant afford to pay him back until 10th august. He said you still need to pay me back some other money from the last bill i asked him to pay which i gave him some money to. Im going to be struggling with bills for the next few weeks as tax credits have put my money down from £115 to £87. Ive also told him to forget buying the food shopping as i will just make the most of what we have in the cupboards until i can afford it baring in mind he just got paid today and i pay for all his familys birthday presents ect. Now starting to think about whether id be better off moving out of here and how id go about it. Would the council understand? Xx

Do you mean In private rent and want council property? As if you are they won’t house you due to making yourself homeless… maybe you both need sit down look at your finances incoming and outgoing see if you can cut back anywhere etc everyone struggles in life it’s about asking for helping and making cuts x
