Hiya, can I have a private post please?

I’m so upset right now…
my 5 year old daughter has been a nightmare for going to bed and tantrums etc since she started school. To the point she won’t go to sleep until 10/11 at night, she’s exhausted and is so grumpy with it. Her attitude stinks and we can’t seem to control it.
Tonight was horrendous. She’s back at school tomorrow so I wanted her in bed early to make sure she got enough sleep.
We put her to bed and admittedly, she has a tv in her room, but she prefers falling asleep to noise and always has done. Within 10 minutes she was up and mucking about in our room. Then she came downstairs because she was hungry/thirsty/wanted to tell us something – you know, the usual hanging it out technique we thought we had perfected as kids!
My Husband went up to her twice and she kept on and on and he shouted at her to go to bed and go to sleep… he came back downstairs and I heard her in our room again, so I went up and took her back to bed, told her I was turning her tv off and she was to go to sleep… cue world war 3.
Screaming, shouting, crying you name it, she did it..
so I popped to the loo and she went downstairs to try and get my Husband to put her tv back on, of course he said no. She refused to go back to bed so he carried her (kicking &screaming) back upstairs. I put her in bed and told her she can’t continue like this and just stayed at the top of the stairs until she fell asleep.
I then went back downstairs and my husband told me he had googled how to put your child up for adoption.
I literally just stared at him because I couldn’t believe those words had come out of his mouth!
I had to leave the room because I was so angry!
I went to bed, he came up and I just couldn’t bare to be in the same room as him so I got up, he asked me where I was going and I told him that I was going to sleep on the sofa. He asked me why and I said because I am SO angry and that I couldn’t believe he would actually do something like that and if anyone was going to go, it would be him.
And no, before anybody says it, he definitely didn’t say it for a joke.
Am I overreacting?
