Hiya I just want advice from other parents. My not so little boy is starting primary school this year and I just want to know how single mothers who work full time get around this. Most days I work 9-5 so I’d be missing dropping him off and picking him up so most probably it will be my gran majority of the time which makes me feel a little bit guilty but at the same time I can’t afford to give up my job if that all makes sense any advice is welcome

Our school has breakfast club….£1.20 per child….starts at 8? Also after school clubs is 50p per club/week only till 4.15 tho ! I personally would say If u have someone “gran” available to drop off/pick up let her and then just treat her to something nice each month x
Most schools have a breakfast club where you can take them some start as early as 7:30 but varies by school but it’s worth looking into it (a lot of them do it free some ask for a small donation)
