Hiya ladies, me again!
Sorry- bit of a long-ish one!
I saw the premature care team today & was recommended some capsule/tablet things to be placed in my Hoo-haa or bum every night to strengthen up my cervix and maybe to have a stitch put in also!!
This is the first time I’m having to do anything like this.. Have any of you had these capsules before?? Did they work??
Is it uncomfortable?? Does anything leak out??
OMG there’s so many questions but I was rushing for another appointment and I couldn’t wait around and ask.
Have any of you had a stitch put in place??
Did it hurt?? Is it done under local or general anesthetic??

(Back story- my son was born 13 weeks premature and I seriously don’t wish to have to go through that or anything like that again if I can change things)

I’ve chosen to have the tablets/capsules each night to strengthen my cervix but if it comes down to it and I’ll need the stitch, I need to weigh the pros and cons of everyone’s exp!
This is a major decision to make as we have been trying for this baby for 5 years!! And I’m doing everything in my power to be safe & eat regular & healthy now and have a healthy (full term) baby.
I’m currently 15 weeks and have to choose by my next appointment which is in 2 weeks.

Any advice or general input from experience would be greatly appreciated. Xxxx
