Hey parents! I am seeking lots of advice on homeschooling. I have a 14 year old son who I am seriously considering this an option for. He has never got on well in school,socially he has a few friends but academic wise he’s always struggled and always been behind,he doesn’t meet the ‘required’ targets,doesn’t understand the relationships between peer and child and it has literally been a huge struggle. We were told he has dyslexia back in juniors school which has made it difficult. Our relationship with him has massively been strained too as a result of the stress school has on him. That being said,I don’t want to just take him out and not have him still respecting boundaries and learning. My questions are.
How do I actually go about removing him?

After I have done this what happens next?

How do I homeschool him,as in what do I teach him and how?

Are there checks on what he’s learning and how are these done?

How can we still make sure he’s socially interacting with other children?

I would really only like opinions or advice from people who have experience from homeschooling or know about it. I am fully aware of the mixed reviews on it and this isn’t a question of whether it’s right or wrong. 😊
