I could I get a post please πŸ˜ƒ
So I am due a baby on the 17th July which I was back at clinic yesterday and my baby is not only breech but completely up the wrong way feet are down towards the cervix the doctor said turning works 50% of the time usually but with me might not as my baby has been in this position most of the pregnancy so is clearly comfortable πŸ™„ I’ve tried the usual bits to encourage movement and it’s a no go so he says a section would be best.. I know really it’s a small thing compared to some women but I’d just like to know was a section as awful as some say? I know they say six weeks for healing but was anyone worse than this? It’s my first baby n it wasn’t my plan to more than likely have a section and I’m so terrified thanks ladies for ur help x

  • Both my girls were the same, feet first breech. I had an unsuccessful ECV with first one, wasn’t offered with 2nd due to c.section scar. I was terrified of having a section but as it was planned it really wasn’t so bad! You really do have to take it easy for 6 weeks, remember you can see how the outside scar is healing but you don’t know what’s happening inside. Good luck x
