I had my son 20 months ago and am due my 2nd in 2 months, I had 3rd degree tears with my son (vag to bum) which apparently is rare as most women rip layers, so my consultant has suggested a c-section but it’s up to Me, there is a risk with me having a natural birth (not to the baby but to me) she has warned that if I do go natural and I tear again it may not heal well and I could end up with incontenoce, I really want to have a natural birth again but obviously there is the risk, if I do opt for a natural birth they will help as much as they can so I don’t tear again, I’m so undecided on what to do? Has anyone had these tears and had a natural birth the 2nd time and been Okay? It’s all I think of all day everyday

I’d just have the C-section planned so nothing can go wrong and your pain can be monitored. Personally i feel if you let the midwives and doctors know you wanted natural but explained the risk they will probably go out their way to make section feel as special for you. Not with the risk and struggle after baby is born. You wanna be back on top form with two babas 😘 x
