I have a 7 year old who’s been googling sex & asking myself what it means….apparently a boy in her class has looked it up in the dictionary! I’m wondering how do I approach the situation?! I’m not wanting to shout & tell her off, nor am I wanting to ban her from the internet etc. I’m looking into blocking certain things on the tablet. But…I would like to know what others have done? Is there some kind of book I can buy? Obviously I don’t want to tell her all the details about sex, but she is a very grown up 7 years old.

Open and honest in an age appropriate way. What does she want to know about sex? Explain it’s a special cuddle between two adults who love each other. Does she need to know all the details?
Just tell her about sex. Seems she’s old enough and better coming from parent. At that age its the norm and she’ll know she can come to you with anything
