I just want to ask a wee question regarding dentist and children. My son who is 6 went to the dentist today as he had a tiny wee hole which wasn’t giving him any pain. When we go there she said tht they don’t numb kids as there teeth aren’t as sensitive as adults. How ever when she started the work my wee boy was screaming and told her it hurt. She then said it’s because the hole is on a nerve and that’s y he’s feeling so much pain. I asked her then to numb him and she said she cldnt and had to carry on. By thus tike he was hysterical. I had to keep askin her to stop and console him. She then said the stuff she was using was setting to quick and had to dig it all out and start again!!! She’s put a medical dressing on it and said f there is any swelling or pain worsens to come straight back!!! I just think with the pain he was in they should of numbed him. So my question is has this happened to anyone else’s kids as I’m wanting to doubke check before I complained . Thanks
