I would like a private post please saying “Hi I’m a mother of two and the oldest is about to start play group in January and TBH I don’t feel completely comfortable in wanting her to go. I don’t know if it’s the bond we have or if it’s the stories ive been reading about children in nursery/playgroup about being badly Mis-treated. Every day I can’t help but think about it and the paranoia gets worse, Because she is a very friendly child and wants to hug and play with everyone but I know some children don’t like that and will push her away or slap her (it’s happened already with another child once) . I just don’t want her to get bullied by other children because of her friendliness or being Mis-treated by the staff. I guess I don’t know what I’m really asking….but does anyone have a view or same feelings about that? Or am I being over protective mother? Thanks.”
