I’m 10 weeks and don’t want people to know yet so need to post private but wondering if a mc chicken sandwich meal is allowed when pregnant even if you buy it plain and add your own mayo was worried about the chicken?made the mistake of looking online about foods and feels like all that’s safe to eat is a washed lettuce leaf lol thanks xx

this reminds me of my first when I first found out, ended up ordering one remembering I was pregnant and asking them to redo the burger they were brilliant about it, all my pregnancy’s have now had there fair amounts of this particular chicken burger and there all fine 🙂 xx
I think it’s daft all the restrictions.. I don’t like the strange mouldy cheeses anyway but as for things like runny eggs ect I would still have them as long as they have the red lion stamp on the box 😊 these things weren’t restricted years ago. Some of it is common sense but the rest seems silly! Eat mcchicken sandwiches to your hearts content! 😂xxx
That’s all I lived on when pregnant lmao and mayo is fine unless it’s homemade but I even ate it then just be hygienic and careful. I ate everything with my first and second (pregnant now) other than cheese and raw things x
You can eat owt you want. Why would you think you were so restricted? I’m overdue today and only thing I’ve avoided is mould ripened cheeses
Umm im 21 weeks and today i ate bacon by itself had pancakes and some popcorn and a granola bar…. just eat food stop worrying
As long as the chicken is cooked properly you’ll be fine
You can eat anything your baby allows you to in moderation
They not as strict as they were,i pretty much ate anything including a chicken sandwich from maccy ds i was fine

These are the current recommendations. Many of them are just due to risk of food poisoning which is more of a risk to you than baby. Just remember they are guidelines and even if you don’t follow the recommendations it doesn’t mean something bad will happen
