Just trying to settle a disagreement between me and my boyfriend when my daughter gets into her teenage years like 13 and she starts going out with friends would you make sure she’s on contraception to make sure she’s safe as I wouldn’t want her to do anything stupid and come back and tell me she’s pregnant as would be my worst nightmare or would you let her go out without no precautions? My boyfriend said I’d be a bad parent making her go on contraception as I’m making her think it’s ok to have sex and that’s not the impression I’d want to give her but I said to him if she has precautions or not she’ll still go out and do it we can’t stop her when she’s out of our sight with her friends, I’d feel much more comfortable knowing she’s protected then not as I was made to have precautions when i was a teenager, So my question is would u be a bad parent putting her on precautions or would I be a better parent letting her go out unprotected??
