Just wondering. Have any of you mums out there had a baby that won’t take a dummy? My boy is 5 and half months. I’ve tried every brand – I know it’s not a bad thing but during the day trying to get him to sleep can be very difficult as most of the time he doesn’t want a bottle so he just screams himself to sleep. Can’t find anything else to comfort him🤔 x

My youngest never took a dummy i used to put him in his buggy infront of tv if i was struggling to get him to nap at bedtime we had a disco light bulb in his room and he would fall asleep watching the lights my other 2 were a nightmare coming off them am so glad he never took 1 lol x
My little one is 18 months nearly and never wanted a dummy.. although now she has been attached to a blanket which is nice.. saves the hassle of taking a dummy I guess. We went through a stage of being a nightmare to get to sleep at night / in her cot in the day, but we used to let her cry a little while then go in and shush her and leave again and wait a bit longer. You could tell after a while when she was really crying or just moaning crying. But at 18months we go to bed with a bottle and her blanket and no peeps are heard! Not sure when we got to this point, it just seems to happen overnight lol
My son stopped taking a dummy when he was a few months old, i would count is as a blessing as he will learn to sleep without one. My other son had one til he was 3 it was terrible trying ti get him to settle to sleep without it. My son loves his star projector and a little cuddle x
Both mine never bothered with a dummy I tried they just didn’t want one lol tbh it is a good thing they are difficult to get rid of and cause odd shaped teeth in sum kids xx
Have you heard of white noise Hun ? It worked a treat for me my little girl wouldn’t settle in the day so I you tube white noise and it sent her to sleep straight away don’t use it now because she nearly 2 xxx
