Just wondering how other families coped? Basically feeling a bit down atm. Im 21 with a 4 month old working 6 hours a week. My partner works full time also and by the time bills are paid, baby essencials are bought and our food is bought we literally have no money left to save 🙁 but we really want to own our own home. We dont treat ourselvs because there is no money left after all that. I passed my test a year ago and cant even afford that. Im just wondering if anyone had any tips or places i can work from home? Because were both young and feel trapped in a rut. I want the best for my son. We want another but want our own home first. Im also constantly worried we will loose our rented home (no reason why we pay rent on time every month) Im going back to college in january to train as a vetenery nurse. I know these issues are not major but i seriously feel like im failing my son already because we dont even have a home of our own and im leaving him with family members while i work which hes so young im worried ill miss his first milestones while im working. It should be me with him all the time not everyone else. Any advise how i can bring an income in from home?

Sadly that’s life. We’d love to own our own house but it’s not going to happen for the foreseeable future. Our kids are happy and healthy and that’s what’s important. Maybe get an evening job if you’re only working 6 hours so you’ll be working when he’s asleep and your partner can take care of him.
