Morning.
Could I get a private post please. I started working in my new job the end of August and since then iv climbed pretty high and now am manager of the house I work in as I work in a residential house. I’m working with another man who is in charge of our supported living houses but he’s very annoyed that I’m manager of this house. Anyways I was finished work yesterday and get a phone call saying xxx has a concert tomorrow night and I was like oh OK and he was like your going.. I didn’t get a chance to say anything before he hung up. Now I’ll do anything for my service users but iv a baby too and have to find childcare for tonight.. He knew about this concert for months and never mentioned anything.. Im going regardless but I’m so so annoyed and the more I think of it the more annoyed I get. Should I say it to my manager but I don’t want to get him in trouble because he’s already in the shit. Just means I won’t be home till after 1am and then back in in the morning at 8am and he lives 5 mins away x
