Morning, please could I have a post. After some advice not baby related but to do with rent and private renting. I’ve been in property a good few years had a rent in crease 2 years ago not a problem but since then the letting agent has been taken over and do kings differently,
I received a email on Thursday just gone to say they was increasing my rent for the new tenancy which starts 15july. They have given me 7days to make a decision and if I don’t then they will take it I don’t want to renew an to vacate he property, basically if I don’t agree to the increase I have a month to find a property what I’m asking is how long notice for the rent increase should they have given me. I think seven days isn’t right and I can’t see nothing in my agreement about rent increase. Any advice welcome or who could I call and speak to on the phone about this xx
