need advice pls..
been to the maternity unit today (37 + 2).. due to leaking clear fluid .. it was quite a lot.. and my belly was very hard.. i had to change 3 pads.. after they checked if it was my waters leaking they said it wasn’t and its calmed down a bit.. feeling a lot of pressure atm though and some leaking again.. deffo not wee or thrush.. not sure whats going on.. any advice pls?

I did this went up as my waters went to be told they hadn’t and I had weed my self the monitor was picking contractions up but they said it was were I waz coughing sent me home went sleep for two hours woke up in pain went back to be told off a different midwife I had no waters wat so ever got there at 9 he was born 9.24 also told them when I went toilet I had funny coloured discharge to be told it was normal when he come out he had pooed inside me ask them to check again xxx
only problem I’ve got is that they did a swab to see if it was amniotic fluid and it came negative.. although she said its 98% accurate… and i had a shower just before.. so i don’t know :/
Lie on your left side for 30 minutes. If you start to leak a lot it’s your waters breaking. Ring maternity and let them know. They’ll probably induce you tomorrow
I had the same with my first. Was adament my waters had gone but they sent me home saying it was my back waters. My labour started about 3hrs after. I was 36+4wks xx
Ask for a scan! If they had scanned me when I first went in with leaking waters I wouldn’t of had half the complications I did, my daughter was close to suffocating after my waters had completely gone and I was left x
Did they do the swab test to see if it was your waters?! I had exactly what your describing, got told it wasnt my waters, kept happening and 3 days later I was told that my waters had broke possibly the first time this happened! x
I had this at around the same time in my pregnancy and it wasn’t my water either I can’t remember what they called it but it was fine my water broke a week and a half after that š
They said the same to my sister in law her baby was here that night X
I get check again as things can change love x
Go back and get checked again
Never be to sure
Stay there until you get proper answers xx
