When I first started my son I had the potty in the sitting room (main room he would be in) so it was in view and just asked if he needed to go potty every 15-20mins. At the start he would only sit on it for like 2 seconds but I would still praise him for sitting on the potty and also praised him when he went on potty. Had a few accidents but just cleaned it up , didnt make a big deal of it just said we will go in the potty next time wont we 🙂 after a week or so I moved potty into the bathroom and just reminded him to go. He now goes in on his own if he needs to go. My son wasnt interested in the stick chart etc so I didn’t do any sort of reward.

I’m currently doing this with my daughter, the sticker chart is helping. We take her to the toilet every 30ish minutes and just try to see if it happens. It’s only been a couple of weeks and she’s amazing
