Ok so I’m 8 month pregnant with my first baby and really struggling with my mother in law. Don’t get me wrong I know she’s excited but it’s getting a little silly. She’s constantly messages me, not to see how I am or anything but to tell me all about when my boy ‘stays over’ (which he won’t be due to her living arrangement and smoking in the property) then every time I see her she’s constantly poking my belly etc to the point where it’s painful even when I ask her to stop. Goes on about my baby as ‘her boy.’ Which is frustrating in itself because she doesn’t really bother with my partner as it in unless they meet for s drink every couple of months because that’s how they socialise. Posting my scan pictures on Facebook even though I have asked her not to. Posting felt my grandson kick for the first time for Facebook attention when I haven’t even seen her that day!! This is only scratching the surface. It’s driving me mad how can I politely ask her to back off??
