Please can have a private post;
My ex partner has finally moved out and now has moved straight in with a new girlfriend, he’s violent, aggressive and just a nasty person. He wants to see our children and wants him and the new girlfriend to pick them up every weekend and take them out for the day, I have said I don’t want him to, as he’s never had them by himself before, I don’t trust him to not bring them back when I’ve asked and I don’t know his new girlfriend, he then threatens to just come round and take them anyway as he thinks I’m being unreasonable.
Am I being unreasonable? I’m doubting myself if I am doing the right thing or not? I don’t want him to take the kids by himself but I also don’t want him to see them at my house, he has no family that we could meet at with the kids, I’m not really sure what else I can do? I’m happy for him to just not be apart of the kids lives as really he does nothing for them, no money or time for them the whole time we lived together but then am I being selfish not letting them have a father?
