Please can I get a private post
My daughter (nearly 2) has just bumped her face and cut her gum, sort of inside under her top lip in the middle. It bled a lot and I stopped the bleed gave her cuddles and plenty of fluids. I rang my mum who came and looked and said it’s nothing to worry about. I just feel really guilty and wonder if I should just keep a close eye over night or will she be fine. Not bruising coming up elsewhere etc. She’s had calpol because I’m sure she’s in agony with it. She’s asleep fine and seems to be okay in herself. I know her mouth will heal quicker etc.
Why is being a parent one long guilt trip 😭😭
