Please can I have a private post on one of the pages?

Please tell me if I’m out of order.
I’m currently watching a family member battle a drug problem, this problem has been going on for years and it’s really effecting my family. Now I’ve been arguing with my partner (maybe ex) because I don’t want him smoking weed every night. He doesn’t smoke it to get off his head, it’s just to chill him out after a long day at work. I haven’t asked him to stop completely I’ve just asked for afew nights aweek so I feel like I have a straight headed person to speak to. He’s having none of it and thinks I’m trying to control him.
Someone please tell me if I’m wrong?
