Please can this be private. I have a 4 yr old son, I have been with his dad for 6 years. Last year he went to prison, I visit him every single week with our son and also his mum.. I have supported him the whole way through, never gone off with anyone else ect and always tried to make him feel positive in there ect.. This past week he has decided he no longer wants to be with me and said we work better as friends, it has shocked me but his being saying it a while now so I know he means it, his mum told me to ignor him saying his chatting shit and that I should still go up there with her every week? She tells me “his just talking silly his having a hard time” I understand that but Iv also bought up our son alone, some times feel like people forget it’s hard for me too and that I have feelings too?? So basically him and his mum still want me to go every week as if it’s fine… Am I sounding selfish thinking that I don’t want to go? Because the mum always goes on about that I don’t understand “his bad days” but it’s ok for me to be dumped after waiting around a year and his only got 10 months left?
