Please can you post this on my behalf as anonymous:

Looking for advice please – I have been with my husband for 6 years, we have a boy who’s nearly one. Since his birth my husbands mum and dad have seen our son 4 times in 50 weeks. The last time they came to see us at home was 31 weeks ago and then they only stayed for 20mins. I am fed up of constantly trying with them, I have got to the point where now I want to tell them to stay out of my sons life. My husband has children for a previous relationship which his mum and dad see EVERY weekend. Am I wrong in saying they shouldn’t see my son from now on. I feel they go out of their way for his previous kids but can’t make the effort for my boy. My husband wants to text them and ask them to come and see our son but my frustration lies in why should you have to text your parents to come and see their own grandson!!
