Please could i have a private post.
Im not sure who to contact so looking for some advice please. Im currently receiving income support, child tax and housing benefit. I am a lone parent with 3 children.
My mum has been of work sick for the last 12 months due to illness, her wages have dropped drastically so she now only gets £80 per month ( she was part time)
She has no fixed address and lives with 3 friends rotated every 2 days .
She has asked me to help her , obviously i want her to come stay with me until she is better she lives 200 miles away .
Would she be able to claim anything at my address as im already stretched finacially and would it effect any benefits i receive?
Please know bashing , my mum has worked all her life and I’ve been out of work for 8 months and will do back.
Who do u contact for some advise? Thankyou
