Please could you post this I’m desperate for advice!😢
My sons just 5 months old, he’s full of cold, he has a rattly chest and a really bad cough and a stuffy nose.. He’s been of his milk for 3 says now, he’s usually having 5 bottles a day but today he’s had 3 he’s seems to he refusing it, I took him to the doctors this morning and they just said give him calpol, there has to be something I can do to help him drink? At 3:50 I had him in the bath and he soon started screaming in pain with him belly he’s so hungry, he’s just had a fruit yoghurt and was still hungry after it and now he’s just finished a 9oz bottle leaving 2oz, is there any advice for when this happens again I feel so helpless my poor baby😢

My son was like this at 6 month I was fobbed off from the Drs 3 times with them telling me to just keep giving him calpol, after 3 days of no milk he ended up in hospital for 5 days on all kinds of machines for bronchitis Which started from a cold. You always know your own baby and go with your gut instinct, id you are worried just ring 111 and explain and they will probably advice you to go over to be seen, that’s what I did anyway. Hope he’s okay soon xx
My baby is like this at the moment Aswell took him doctors this morning. Keep and eye on his poop and his sick. Make sure he’s got wet nappies regularly and his body will do the rest. (as horrible as it is)
Even when they are born I always stick by if in doubt check it out.
If your not happy with the advice of that doctor take him to another
