Does any parents/careers have any experience with adoption or change of name?
Basically my child has no involvement with his biological father last lone contact the man beat him and social services were contacted by myself etc.. he has seen him 3 times in 3 years each time with me and another person only for 30 mins around Xmas.
Previous too this he was a massive let down, my son wants no involvement with him at all and wants my partner of 8 years too adopt him or at least change his name so he has the same as his siblings.
Biological father refusing too entertain the idea.
Is there a way around this? My poor boy is desperate for one or both of these too happen but he is only 11.
